The room does not become frightening all at once. It does what guilty rooms do: it offers ordinary details first, then waits for someone patient enough to notice that they have been arranged. In this episode, Shen Yan is not simply following sound archive conspiracy; Shen Yan is learning the local grammar of municipal sound archive and old flooded school basement. The grammar is made of rain, drainage maps, waveform scars, sealed accident reports. Each detail seems harmless by itself, but together they create a sentence nobody wanted spoken aloud.
