In this episode, Wen He is not simply following identity theft through families; Wen He is learning the local grammar of an apartment whose mirrors reveal hidden rooms. The grammar is made of bathroom steam, hollow walls, child drawings, reversed bedrooms. Each detail seems harmless by itself, but together they create a sentence nobody wanted spoken aloud.
