S11E07: The Final Self-Portrait

The room does not become frightening all at once. It does what guilty rooms do: it offers ordinary details first, then waits for someone patient enough to notice that they have been arranged. In this episode, Su Wen is not simply following art-market crimes under restored paint; Su Wen is learning the local grammar of the museum after closing and the private portrait room.
